This unique building can be found in the very modern City of sciences in Valencia. This city contains museums and expositions of all kinds, science-oriented of course. New buildings are still being built there and each costs a lot of money, for building as well as for the maintenance. At the beginning it was understandable for Valencia to have a striking and unique site like this : it needed advertisement to attract tourism as well as sympathy (I'll explain why in another post). But now, people think this money could be invested in more efficient ways and the City of sciences is a money pit.-------------------------
On peut voir cet unique batiment dans la très moderne Cité des sciences de Valencia. Cette cité contient des musées et expositions de tous types, mais toujours sur la science bien entendu. De nouveaux batiments sont toujours en construction et tous coutent énormément d'argent, pour la construction aussi bien que pour la maintenance. Au départ, il était compréhensible pour Valencia de créer un site unique et surprenant comme celui-ci : la ville avait besoin de publicité pour attirer les touristes et la sympathie (j'expliquerai pourquoi dans un autre post). Mais à présent, les Valenciens pensent que cet argent pourrait être investi de façon plus rentable et la Cité des sciences est perçue comme un gouffre financier.
